Raven Jackson is an evangelist, author, and founder of Walking Worthy with Raven (based on Colossians 1:9-12), a faith-centered YouTube channel dedicated to Bible Study. Called to ministry at 19 under the acronym R.A.V.E.N. (Restoring a Vision, Evangelizing Nations), she has spent over 15 years preaching, teaching, and leading others to Christ. Her first book, Manasseh, is the beginning of many planned nonfiction and fiction works designed to encourage readers to “grab a cup of coffee (or tea) and a Bible — your table for two with Jesus is ready!” A graduate of Spelman College with a B.S. in Biology, Raven also holds masters degrees in Science Education and Human Biology.

I was born and raised in the church and fell in love with the Lord at a young age. At 13, I made the decision to give my life to the Lord and live for Him. While a sophomore in college, at just 19 years old, I accepted my call to be an evangelist with the acronym R.A.V.E.N. - “Restoring a Vision, Evangelizing Nations.” My first sermon was entitled, “How Big is Your God Pt. 2,” part 1 was one of my favorite sermons preached by my dad. In the summer of 2012, I launched News You Can Use (www.newsyoucanusersj.weebly.com), a devotional and Bible Study blog that covered topics like faith, identity, prayer, singleness, and much more. In August 2022, I launched Walking Worthy with Raven (based on Colossians 1:9-12) - a faith-centered YouTube Channel dedicated to Bible Study - with the sole mission to make Heaven as full as possible through the sharing of the Gospel!

Being in ministry for the last 15 years and counting, I have had the privilege and honor of preaching, teaching, and leading many to the Lord. Since giving my life to Him, my most treasured time is when I make myself a cup of coffee, grab my Bible and spend uninterrupted time in His presence - a table set for just me and my Savior, Jesus. It is my desire through every book that I write, whether nonfiction or fiction, to encourage everyone to “Grab a cup of coffee (or tea) and a Bible. Your table for two - YOU and JESUS - is ready!”

Academically, she is a 2013 graduate of Spelman College with a Bachelors Degree in Biology. She also holds two Masters Degrees, in Science Education and Human Biology. Currently, she is balancing a busy schedule - but if not serving, working, or studying, you can find her writing stories that are rooted in faith and inspired by purpose.
